Help support your MeetupChip in
We are a playgroup of working moms with young children of any age who meet primarily on the weekends and weekday nights. We try different parks around the county, attend special events, special classes, the zoo, museums, Sea World, etc. We are looking to expose our children to everything beautiful San Diego has to offer while watching them develop friendships as we develop our own. We schedule weekly, late afternoon playdates whenever possible, in different areas of the county. We also have events just for adults, such as Moms' Night Out, a Moms' Night In at someone's home, or Couples' Nights. We try to include events that will encourage the entire family to attend and participate in the playgroup. We are here to support each other and answer each other's questions and to give opinions when asked. This is an eclectic group of women who want to meet others who share the unique joys and concerns of the working mother. This is not just a meet up group to us, we are definitely "FRIENDS," so we treat each other and our kids with the same amount of respect as we would our Friends.
We keep our weekend calendar busy so that there is always something to do.
Please post a picture of yourself or your family, not of your children only, so that we recognize you at meetups.
You should attend at least one meetup bi-monthly to maintain an active membership and avoid membership removal. (Virtual events and "swaps" are non-participatory activities and are not counted as attendance to a meetup.)
If you have RSVP'd YES, and something comes up last minute and you can't make it to the event, please CALL the host or organizer of the event. You are meeting up with a FRIEND, not a STRANGER. Kids are expecting playmates too. The host and organizer will post their telephone number, so please call or text.
If you arrive and do not see anyone from the group please call or text your hostess to locate the group so that you are not marked as a "NO SHOW."
After 3 no shows your membership will be revoked. Again this just has to do with courtesy toward others.
See ya 'round the playground!
