The first 2013 48HFP Meet and Greet

Hello 48HFP Family and Happy New Year! We are already brainstorming ways to make this year's Project bigger and better than ever. We have planned the first get-together of this year for January 31st from 7-9PM at Randy Jones All American Grill and we'd love to see you there. Join us to mix and mingle with fellow filmmakers and let's get the 10th anniversary season of the 48HFP in San Diego started!

The 48 Hour Film Project is an international timed filmmaking competition that takes place in over 100 cities worldwide.  This year the San Diego competition will take place in July.  If you are interested in joining a team or finding out more information please join us at the meet and greet and find us on Facebook at the 48 Hour Film Project San Diego page!

I have some people to email after last night's event, and I believe I'll see some of you tonight at the SDIFC mixer. In the meantime, if you want to be on a team (if I start one) or if you want someone on your team to shoot or direct (possibly write, but I tend to be a slow writer), I'd love to help out.

It was a great turn out for the first meeting, there had to be 30 plus people there when I left. I'm looking forward to an exciting 48!

I used to own a production company several years ago and would love to join a team to put together a cool project. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
