Entrepreneur Resources

Essentially, this page will be a 'links' page with links to some great local resources for entrepreneurs. See some important resources NOT listed on here? Want to add some? You can do that by clicking HERE. In the meantime, good luck!

SCORE: The Service Corps of Retired Executives
"Counselors to America's Small Business" is America's premier source of free & confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. They provide a public service to America by offering small business advice and training.

SCORE's 10,500 volunteers have more than 600 business skills. Volunteers share their wisdom and lessons learned in business. Our volunteers are working/retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders.

The US Small Business Adminstration of San Diego
Their mission is to maintain and strengthen the nation's economy by aiding, counseling, assisting and protecting the interests of small businesses and by helping families and businesses recover from national disasters.

They also have a Business Resource Center which provides a one-stop location for free access to a variety of information, education and training designed to help entrepreneurs start, operate and grow their business. In addition, there is on-site free counseling provided by the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).

The San Diego Venture Group
The San Diego Venture Group is a non-profit business organization whose mission is to provide an informal atmosphere that fosters ideas on how to form, fund and build new ventures.

They are comprised of professionals with bright ideas to share and the skills to implement those ideas. With an estimated 425 members and an average monthly meeting attendance of 375 people, the SDVG is helping San Diego become a significant entrepreneurial and venture center.

Basecamp - Project Collaboration Tool
Basecamp is a unique project collaboration tool. Projects don't fail from a lack of charts, graphs, or reports, they fail from a lack of communication and collaboration. Basecamp makes it simple to communicate and collaborate on projects.

It's elegant, easy, and web-based. You don't need to download, install, or configure anything (no IT department required!). All you need is a web browser and an internet connection. You can take a tour

And of course, you can check out our new Entrepreneur Resources Kit, filled with all sorts of helpful articles, pdfs and templates for your perusal.
