It's Persimmon Season! Choose from one of two dates.
We will be visiting the pesticide free Primavera Orchard, which is one of our favorite orchards in North County. Some of you have been there before, so you know that visiting Nino's (our host) orchard is a lot of fun and informative. If you have never tasted a persimmon, come and find out what you are missing. Freshly picked ripe persimmons are so much more delicious than store bought ones. Nino will have some samples to taste and then show us around his orchard. This season, most of the persimmons available are the smaller variety. There may also be some larger size persimmons and tangerines available to be picked.
