Due to popular demand, we have added another date for persimmon picking!
We had such great demand and long wait lists for the 2 persimmon picking events that Nino at La Primavera Orchard has graciously added another date for our members to visit. If you have never tasted a persimmon, come and find out what you are missing. Freshly picked ripe persimmons are so much more delicious than store bought ones. Nino will have some samples to taste and then show us around his orchard. This season, most of the persimmons available are the smaller variety. There may also be some larger size persimmons and early batch of satsuma tangerines available to be picked.
When: Sunday, December 9th, 2012
Time: 10:00 AM
What to Bring:
- Gardening clippers (kitchen shears also works)
- Shopping Bag(s)
This event is limited to 15 adults.
If you want to bring your spouse or adult friends, please make sure you add them as a guest when you RSVP. You do not need to add children below 12 years old as a guest, but please indicate that you will be bringing kids in your RSVP comments. The trees are on a slope, so you will not be able to use strollers.
PLEASE BE KIND: DO NOT RSVP YES UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE GOING! If you rsvp yes, please show up or cancel your RSVP early so you do not prevent a fellow member from visiting the orchard.

- Tangerines - $ 0.65/lb
