Cherimoya and Tangerines

It's time for cherimoya and satsuma tangerines!

This is a private farm in Vista/Bonsall area (off Gopher Canyon). We will be picking satsuma tangerines ourselves, while the Farmer will help us pick the delicious and delicate cherimoyas. You can bring children, but no strollers please as the farm is partly on a hillside.

Location: I will email those who RSVP 'Yes' the address of the farm the night before and morning of the event.
When: Sunday, January 27, 2013
Time: 11:30 AM
What to Bring:
- Gardening clippers (kitchen shears also works) for the tangerines
- Shopping Bag(s)
- Cash

SPACE IS LIMITED!
SO PLEASE BE KIND:
DO NOT RSVP YES UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE GOING! If you RSVP 'Yes', please show up or cancel your RSVP early so you do not prevent a fellow member from visiting the orchard. No shows will not be allowed to attend future limited space events.

Price:

  • Cherimoya - $ 4.50/lb
  • Satsuma Tangerines - $ 1.25/lb

It was wonderful, thanks Melin for always being a great host, keeping us informed of every details of the event, wouldnt be successful without you :-) Also I would like to thank Nino and his wife for the warm welcoming and letting us sample the delicious cherimoyas ! My kids and I had a great time picking the satsuma tangerines, with this cold weather we needed as much vitamin C as possible :-) Take care everyone and look forward to another meet up event!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
