In this hands-on workshop, professional artist Janet McCarty and creativity coach Rachel Moore will help you free your creative spirit, the one you may have kept hidden from the world out of fear, rejection or simply because you were never given an opportunity to share it, so that you can express yourself fully and fulfill your artistic calling.
Janet will lead fun drawing and painting exercises to go deep into blocks and break through fear into freedom and joy around art. This workshop is for anyone who wants to connect with their inner artist child and let it come out and play, regardless of your preferred art medium.

Janet McCarty has led three intertwined lives: as an artist, as a designer and principal of an architecture firm, and as a professor for American colleges' Italian study abroad architecture programs. All of these endeavors form a life based in creativity, broadening of perspective, and saturation of experience.
Rachel Moore holds a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and spent 14 years crafting headlines and designing pages as a newspaper copy editor. She is now the owner of San Diego Creative Connection and has facilitated several "Artist's Way" groups, as well as founding Creatives Coffee Klatch (C2K).
