The Tarot Salon

The Tarot Guild presents: The Tarot Salon. This weekly event is a gathering of like-minded Tarot enthusiasts discussing anything and everything Tarot! This event will be similar to the Tarot Guild monthly meeting we have been having since 2004, only now WEEKLY as our members have been demanding. Whether you are new to the Tarot or have been studying the subject for 30+ years, everyone is invited. We will be doing mini-lessons, having an open discussion period (with Q&A), and of course readings at the end!

One interesting project discussed for the Tarot Salon is weekly Group Readings on subject mater in the news. So be sure to bring a deck or two with you! Remember, no experience is necessary...everyone's input is welcome! Come join other Tarot enthusiasts/practitioners and bring a friend to make it even more fun!

We will be holding the Tarot Salon EVERY TUESDAY at Cafe Libertalia, 7pm, 3834 Fifth Avenue. That is between University and Robinson on Fifth Ave, in Hillcrest (Just down Fifth from the Hillcrest sign). PLEASE help us to support our venue.....get a latte, coffee, or other beverage...maybe a snack!...and don't forget to tip your Barista!

There is a SUGGESTED DONATION of $5.00 to cover expenses....But no one has ever been turned away for an inability to donate.

PARKING:

On-street can usually be found, although not frequently available right on the block of the cafe; no meter charges after 6pm; best locations 4th, 3rd, 2nd Avenues, toward Pennsylvania Avenue (a couple of blocks from the cafe).

$3 parking lots for all day or evening:

John's Luggage, 3833 Fourth Ave, from 5:30 Mon-Fri, 4:30 Sat., all day Sun; walk through Washington Mutual parking lot to get from 4th Ave. to the cafe on 5th.

California Bank & Trust Co., 3737 Fifth Avenue (between Robinson and Pennsylvania Avenues), east side of 5th Avenue, after business hours.

Un-named lot across the street from California Bank & Trust Co. and a few doors down from The Hillcrest Inn Hotel (not the lot next to the hotel) on 5th Ave. between Robinson and Pennsylvania, west side of 5th (a block from the cafe).

$2 per hour lots:

Rite Aid, Robinson and 5th Avenue (half-block from the cafe)

Public lot across Robinson from Rite Aid and next to Jamba Juice

Most convenient, but $8 for the day or evening: Washington Mutual, two doors south of the cafe.
