Hi Laurie, A couple of my friends at Eastlake Bridge belong to a Ukulele group. Used to love it as a kid.

There's a new ukulele event on the horizon. The California Ukulele Academy takes place on the weekend of October 26 to 28 in a retreat in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear, CA. Instructors include Jim D'Ville, Cali Rose, Craig Brandau and Sarah Maisel and some hot performers. This is a solid weekend of instruction, jamming and fun stuff at an unusually low price.

Hi Laurie, We have Little Grass Shack in our songbook too! The meetups on the last Tuesday of every month are open mic nights, where members have the opportunity to get up and perform if they wish. Other Tuesdays are sing-a-long from the songbook you can download under More->Files in the menu (only when you are logged in.) Our group is very beginner friendly! Hope to see you soon!
