Introduction
Hi there! I am so happy I joined the Hau`oli Strummers, a fantastic group of beginning players who are amazingly supportive and welcoming. I've been playing ukulele for years but have never gotten my songs honed enough to perform in public until now.
How long have you been playing or interested in playing the Ukulele?
I have been playing for several years. Just on my own, for fun.
Do you currently own a Ukulele (how many)?
Yes, I have three.
What your favorite song to play or would like to learn to play on the Uke?
Currently I am working on "On Moonlight Bay" (Percy Wenrich and Edward Madden) and "Take Good Care of My Baby" ( Carole King and Gerry Goffin)
Do you play any other instruments?
I played cello as a child, I learned accordion as an adult.
What would you like to see out of this group?
I would like to learn scales to do solos and improvisation. Also, I would like to expand my chord repertoire.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Tim! I've had such a great time these past two meetups. Everyone is so enthusiastic about learning, it's so inspiring. :) Big Mahalo for putting out the HUGE song book last week, I can't wait to practice with everyone again this Tues. Aloha!

Omg, thank you for the kind invite and words of beginner encouragement. I will definitely try to make it tomorrow. I really love music and I'm kinda struggling with some basics like how to hold the thing. But I also have some chords and strums memorized so I've made some progress:-)

Thanks for the welcome! I'm going to try to make it the Tuesday before the Uke Retreat. That will be my next trip down. Until then I'm swamped putting my Reno Uke Fest together. So little to do, so much time. Scratch that. Reverse it... -
