Introduction
Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm from Los Angeles, originally, but moved to SD 6 years ago. I'm a stay at home mom, experienced as a massage therapist, and I love music.
How long have you been playing or interested in playing the Ukulele?
I own a pineapple Ukulele and I only know about 3 chords. I have wanted to play for about a year now, and only started learning 3 months ago.
Do you currently own a Ukulele (how many)?
1 pineapple from Moze Guitars! I think it's a Sunlite, but one day I will own a more fancy one :)
What your favorite song to play or would like to learn to play on the Uke?
I like Ingrid Michaelson songs which are sometimes played on the uke, and also some folk songs.
Do you play any other instruments?
Yes, I play acoustic guitar and long ago, I played the clarinet.
What would you like to see out of this group?
Hear people playing this wonderful instrument, learn how to play from them, and bring my baby so that he can be exposed to music. Also to make friends and get out more.

Hi Lauren, Welcome to the Hau'oli Strummers! We are a fun, beginner friendly group and a perfect place to get your ukulele motivation/insp
iration going. Sing and strum along with us on Tuesdays at Big Kahunas! The last Tuesday of every month is open mic night, which is different from our regular sing-a-long nights. We will not be meeting between Christmas and the new year, but I hope to see you soon! -
