Introduction
I'm Phil, I was born here in San Diego but grew up and lived all over! I purchased my first uke several years ago but didnt do very much with it till about a year ago - but now I'm hooked!
How long have you been playing or interested in playing the Ukulele?
I've been playing for a about a year but not very seriously... I want to improve!
Do you currently own a Ukulele (how many)?
Yes (4)
What your favorite song to play or would like to learn to play on the Uke?
Right now my favorite to play is the Plain White T's - Rhythm of Love
Do you play any other instruments?
No... Just barely the Uke!
What would you like to see out of this group?
Just want to meet others that enjoy the Ukulele!

There's a new ukulele event on the horizon. The California Ukulele Academy takes place on the weekend of October 26 to 28 in a retreat in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear, CA. Instructors include Jim D'Ville, Cali Rose, Craig Brandau and Sarah Maisel and some hot performers. This is a solid weekend of instruction, jamming and fun stuff at an unusually low price.

We've just put the finishing touches on a new event that might be of special interest to your members: Camp Oo-Koo-Lay-Lay, at the Lair of the Golden Bear, August 18 - 24.
