Introduction
I like ukes, I like people, so here I am. :)
How long have you been playing or interested in playing the Ukulele?
I've been playing off and on for a couple years, but decided to spend more time on it in the past year.
Do you currently own a Ukulele (how many)?
I have a tenor and a concert. I also have a soprano that's been in the shop for more than six months. (Uncool!)
What your favorite song to play or would like to learn to play on the Uke?
I'm enjoying the diversity of the club's songbooks.
Do you play any other instruments?
No, but plan to teach myself some basic harmonica next!
What would you like to see out of this group?
Smiles, some laughs, maybe pick up some skills along the way.

Hi Matt and Welcome to Ukulele Friends. We've got a Meet-Up planned for the 19th of Jan. We welcome all skill levels and enjoy sharing what we've learned. We play a variety of music, ranging from traditional Hawaiian to classics to rock and roll. We're in the process of setting up a 'round robin' music selection among our members so everyone can pick a song to work on. I look forward to meeting you. Happy Strumming, Scott

Welcome Matt! Join us on Tuesday evenings at Big Kahuna's in Pacific Beach. Usually about 30 people show up, all ages, all skill levels. We sing and strum together from our songbook, some of the songs you mentioned are in there! The last Tuesday of every month is open-mic when members are welcome to take the stage and sing a song or two for the group, karaoke style. Hope to see you soon!
