Hello People! Just want to learn more songs and new ways of playing this ukelele and jam with the gang:)
Actually had my first lesson at this Groups very first Meetup-maybe 5 months now.
I own three. All Kala.
Cold play Civa La VIDA & Lumineers
I used to play the guitar and want to pick up that eventually too:)
Maybe a record deal? World tour ...hehehehe----Better yet, the Sandcastles in IB this summer will do:)
I am soo glad I joined and am excited people want to meet up, learn and play ukelele together:)
There's a new ukulele event on the horizon. The California Ukulele Academy takes place on the weekend of October 26 to 28 in a retreat in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear, CA. Instructors include Jim D'Ville, Cali Rose, Craig Brandau and Sarah Maisel and some hot performers. This is a solid weekend of instruction, jamming and fun stuff at an unusually low price.
Tre cool. See you then.
Thanks! I definitely had fun.
Hi Cristina, you asked me a while back, a Long while back, if I liked the Nikon D300. I love it! I have the grip and a wide range of lenses. I mainly shoot sports, but have been shooting a lot of landscape, events and anything else I can shoot. I am really happy with the D300. Have you purchased one yet?
Oh man...I am really late on this reply....Cristina, you look just like the person I was talking about. I was definite that it was you. Yes, you do have a twin out there.
No problem Cristina. We had a great turnout and all the tickets were used. Loved the movie!
You are most welcome (for the Uke), Christina. It was great having you in the group and I look forward to your next visit. - Ciao
Christina, I will bring an extra Uke..maybe two. Hope to see you. - Dean
ended up playing Rocketeer and Stuck on You (the Ekolu version but i love the Lionel Richie one also). yeah, im looking forward to seeing the video footage as well so i can see all my bigtime mess ups and out of tune singing for critique purposes. i want to know what i need to work and improve on. so if/once you see it, please let me know of any areas that could use some touching up. and i dont really recommend you watch any of my youtube stuff....not unless you want your ears to bleed.
