What we’re about

This group is into Adventure Bike riding throughout South East Queensland & Northern New South Wales in particular, but also do regular overnight & further afield trips . We are aimed more at experienced riders, and not novice riders and an invite only group.

If you dont know anyone, I would suggest you join the group below and once you have met members, you can get invited in.

OUR RIDES - Most rides will involve a combination of bitumen, gravel roads, 4WD trails, fire trails, and single tracks. Each Meetup will detail the rider skill required for a member to attend the ride. See below for more information on Rider Skill Ratings.

LONGER MULTI-DAY RIDES - For longer multi-day rides, you and your bike must be capable of covering between 300-800+km rides in a single day, have at least a 300km fuel range, and typically have dual purpose or knobby tyres fitted (not road tyres). Many rides could have 2-3 hours or more of bitumen along with sections of dirt roads and tracks. Most rides will involve a combination of Gravel roads, 4WD trails, fire trails, and single trail as well, and will cater for all skill levels where possible.

1.  Intermediate - Rider is confident riding off-road and demonstrated experience in tackling the challenges of mud, sand, rocks and kilometres of corrugations. Has experienced the unexpected behaviour of wildlife and other obstacles encountered when riding off-road. Has completed at least one multi-day ride in the past

2.  Experienced- Experienced off-road adventure bike rider who can navigate tracks and forest trails on the fly and lead riders across difficult terrain in a range of weather conditions. Has completed many multi-day rides in the past.

3. Hardcore (Small bikes only) - This will involve very steep descents & ascents, gullies, ruts, jumps, log crossings, river crossings & very difficult terrain. A hardcore rider must be completely self-sufficiency, carry all the tools and spares needed and be able to make basic repairs to the bike while on the trail. This rider is experienced and has completed many multi-day rides in the past.

This by no means covers us for the unexpected when we may hit fallen trees washed out bridges and other natural disasters that we cannot foresee.
