I've been using photoshop since before there were layers or affordable color printers. Always overjoyed and entranced by every upgrade over the years. I've lived in Maine most of my life, moved to Seattle area in January 2012.
I do work for print and web. Love working with data driven design such as catalogs and directories and how to make the ugly and mundane be beautiful, or attempt it.
I play with it a lot. Create (or mess up) web images from high res camera images. I have more ideas and intentions than time. Still learning about photography and how to make detail shots. I ultimately work in InDesign. Work for a statewide non-profit arts association in Maine that promotes fiber farms and fiber artwork and the people that raise the fiber and create the art.
So far so good after attending my first one.

Welcome Carol! I hope to see you soon at one of our get togethers. We have the nicest group of people.
Hi Tim and welcome to the SGDMG. Thanks for your intro (which sounds very interesting. I happen to personally like graphic design that takes on an aesthetic of knitwear but using pixels instead of thread). You, holding a camera, sounds like you are a photographer as well, another area of visual/imaging/
design I also like, so I look forward to seeing you at one of our future events.
