Christmas in Sept -- Crazy, Beautiful ways to output your Creativity into Gifts.
I am guessing that many members have made gifts from their photographs and artistry. Let's get as many folks to share their best ideas -- and bring samples if possible -- and give some tips and tricks. Let's get crafty!
Very Cool Presenters so far:
Linda Kenny - glass tile magnets using your images
Elizabeth Pankey - has printed fabric samples and presentation, plus creative jam labels
Abby - sharing a sampling of digital crafts
Kate @spirited earth - a calendar created in Photoshop, and other printed projects
Penny - a photobook
Liz Martini (me) - will share some votive candles I have personalized.
AND YOU, YES YOU can still contribute in one of the following ways:
1. DRAG: Bring something to show. I will have several tables available for display. Please bring along any pertinent information such as resources that you may have used. I will have 3 x 5-inch index cards for you to write identifying information on, but feel free to write that up in advance.
2. BRAG: You may not have something to show since you have given it away. But if it is a really cool idea, as I am sure it was, perhaps you have an image to share?
3. COOL IDEAS: Perhaps you know or have seen some great craft ideas that you think a fellow Photoshopper/Crafter/Photographer would love to make. It could just be a vendor -- like that place that makes neckties from your artwork. Please share that information with the group -- send links or photos to me in advance if possible.

Collectively, I think we can come up with 100 Awesome Ideas for Giftmaking via Photoshop (etc.) To prove it, I have just set up a blog in which I will be posting all the ideas that we can come up with between now and the end of the year. Which, coincidentally, is just about 100 days away.
I look forward to first meeting after 2 months break. We have a great fall lineup, so be sure check the meetup site and RSVP.I need a few volunteers to make the evening run smoothly (& Howard, my co-organizer went to Portugal!)
2 people to help set up (start at 6:30 pm)
1 photographer (we must have photos of this)
1 note taker - (I need help recording all these ideas and information)
Email me if available. Thanks!
