Hi everyone, I am looking to sell my Epson Stylus Pro
4000. It produces beautiful 17" prints, but because I am an instructor I
need to be able to teach with the latest generation of printers (the
4880). I am asking $375. This includes approximately $235 in
ink (based on Glazers prices), and the ink maintenance tank is 75% empty.
The printer has been used very lightly, and I have had no issues, EXCEPT
that the nozzles clog. I find that if I don't print for a month, for
example, that I might go through 4-5 sheets of paper unclogging them.
I can show you prints I have done up to 24".
I jokingly call this a desktop printer because I have a very large desk, but be
sure you are ready for its size and bulk. You will not be able to carry it
by yourself! (I'll help you here, of course). Dimensions:
33.4" (W) x 14" (H) x 30" (D), weight 83.7 lb.
I have the original box (it is huge), the
manual and power cord. Full specs are listed
Note that it doesn't list support for the latest
operating systems in this outdated link, but Epson does have updated drivers on
their site, including for Windows 7. I do not see a driver for Snow
Leopard, so I can't guarantee that it would work (do a google search for "epson
4000 snow leopard" and you will see forum conversation on this).
You must be able to pick up the printer in
Fremont. Cash only.
