Assemble, the rapid web development tool for designers and developers.
Although we often refer to Assemble as a static site generator, its is really a rapid prototyping and web development tool that can do much more than build static sites. In this talk, I'll briefly discuss why we created Assemble and how it has helped our team to bridge the workflow gap between front-end and backend design and development. Then we'll create a new Assemble project, launch it, and discuss scenarios for how Assemble might be extended further to meet the needs of your own projects.
Topics will include:
• What Assemble is, and why you should use it for rapid web development
• How to get started with Assemble
• How to extend Assemble
• What's coming in the next release
