This isn't a very big zoo so I thought 3 hrs would be enough but if we need more time we can add an hour.

Since no one else replied I guess it was only you and I know you said you thought you may still attend and I didn't make plans on a maybe and me being the only one, esp with me living out of town. I'm glad you had a great time. I hope you got some good photos.

Due to the closing of this group I made new plans for this date and I can not change them. I feel awful since I planned this date. I am happy to see that this group is staying. The weather is suppose to be fine and 80 so be prepared for the sun. There may be a brief shower this morning. Hope to see you all soon.

Don't know why we're still on here........... In Febraury 2012 we went to a yearly amount of $10. While Richard was organizer you could see where we stood as far as dues. when he stepped down that option disappeared (meetup protocol), and I highly doubt anyone has paid since then. This Meetup really needs a face to face meeting somewhere to arrange for accountability and planning. It's tough trying to keep a group going without input or accountability. I have to applaud Spirit for stepping up and planning this meetup. At the last meeting that was the whole topic, people agreeing to host a meetup every couple months. Needless to say it didn't happen, and some of those members have left now. If you want to see this group continue, think of a place to go or space to meet in and post it!!!!!

I was going to see how well the zoo meet-up was going to be and then arrange another shooting spot. I wanted to talk to the people who showed up and see what each person preferred and add up the highest vote for the next trip, maybe one of Boston's historical walking areas, or Salem or Gloucester, since it has easier parking access. I wish I had the money to dish out and then accept dues to pay back the Meet-up fee.

Hi Val, I no longer see where you can pay to keep this group going. I see a beginning plan is $12 and I can do a month to month until I receive enough dues to pay for a yr and maybe you can help me find a place where the group can meet up. I am not very familiar with Taunton or a surrounding town. I live in New Bedford.

187 members at five dollars a member like it was when I joined in 2011. should cover the fees for the site. just sayin[masked] a year for all the members and even if you charged 1.50 it would still cover it.

Hi Michael, The problem is getting people to pay, which many will. New Bedford's club charges a yearly fee and do well with it. I just saw the notice that there was 2 days left. I have been on back to back vacations and dealing with family emergency's and then noticed the my email has been bouncing for Meet-Up and fixed that. I just joined this group and saw nothing was planned and nothing has really been going on for a while so that is why I planned a zoo trip. It is unlike me to take on a feat but I thought I would give it a go. This group will be closing tonight.

If it didn't cost nearly $150/year to maintain the group, I would be willing to co-organize with someone. But that's a little hefty a pricetag for me. It's right around the corner for me, so I may still go on that day.

I just wasn't prepared to have a group and now a new group has started in Boston, which is too far from me. I may join the Plymouth group. I'll meet up with you if you go Aug 3rd Karen. Let me know: [masked] Take care, Spirit

Sadly it looks like this group is going to close in 2 days. I can not afford the maintenance fees, sadly enough. So I guess this meet-up will be cancelled. Sorry.

I haven't been to this zoo before and saw the group needed an event and this was in most people's backyard. I heard it was nice.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
