Introduction

I have taken up photography as a hobby in the last 2 years and am enjoying it so much. I shoot with a Canon SX20 IS. A number of my photos have cropped up on NECN's weather segment over the year. I am looking for tips and socializing with others.

Better use of my camera and technique. Opportunities to go on outings with a group.

macro flowers, animals, people, outdoors, etc.

I am looking forward to meeting people in person. I arrived to the event late (thankfully I had let Danielle know on Friday to tell the group leader not to wait for me if I didn't arrive with you all). There was an issue with heat at the hotel. This group is very active and creative with events.
