Our July meeting will feature demos of great tech in the search space, from powerful tools to interesting mash-ups. We have even been promised a few sneak peeks of new features and closed betas!
Here's how it will work: each company will get 5 minutes to demo their technology and then 5 minutes to take questions from the audience. No PowerPoint presentations allowed!
Here's who we have lined up, with more to come:
Thanks again to Clickable for sponsoring the cocktail portion of our event.
The final list has been submitted to Microsoft. Here's what they say about folks who want to take a chance as a walk-in:
All names need to be submitted to the building security system before they are allowed to enter the building. Unfortunately, that is a building policy not ours. If they arrive early in the day before 5:30 (not sure when your event is), they can call up from the security desk and we can enter their names. If they arrive after 5:30, which is when our switchboard closes they may have a hard time getting in.

I was walking on Carlton and Greene Avenue in Brooklyn one Saturday nite in March at 9:30pm. I entered a park, while on the phone, talking to one of my partners about using Live.com search. As I entered the park I noticed 4 females talking but as they overheard me mention Live.com, they jumped up and down and said, "He said Live.com!". I stopped and they came running up to me and said, "We heard you say Live.com and we work with Live.com." Can't wait to see these ladies again at the meetup.
