Vegetarian Potluck and Game Night at Ricky's House in North Hollywood

  • Mar 10, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • Ricky's House

Join us for a Vegetarian Potluck and Game Night on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 11:45 PM at Ricky's House at 7018 Morse Ave., North Hollywood, CA.

Come at 7:00 PM to join in on the fun, the great food, and the games! Remember, it's daylight savings time so 7:00PM will feel like an hour earlier! This event has been crossposted on other Meetup groups so you'll get a chance to meet a lot of people.

Ricky has requested that you only bring healthful vegetarian food. A home cooked main course, a fresh vegetable side dish or salad is preferred. Please also bring a drink to share, but NO SODAS AND CHIPS. Beer and wine are ok.

If you don't bring food you will be charged an extra $10.00 to be fair to the other people bringing food.

$3.00 will be collected at the door to cover the costs of plates, cups, utensils, and clean up for the host.

Meet new friends and play a few board games.

Bring your games too that are fun and easy to learn. Games that give people a laugh and give people a chance to meet each other are great. If you don't know how to play games - don't worry - the other players will be glad to teach you! Make sure you mark your games with your name so they don't get lost.

We're here to socialize, laugh and have fun. Please join us.

See The Swing Dolls Show: From ABBA to Swing: The Ultimate USO Tour

at 3:00 PM at

Downey Civic Theatre

8435 Firestone Blvd.

Downey, CA

Female vocal trio The Swing Dolls -- featuring close harmonies, dazzling costumes and stylish choreography -- has appeared on The Gilmore Girls and Your Big Break. Join them for a journey back in time to experience USO Shows throughout the decades. As the show opens, you find yourself in the 1950s, enjoying the elegant harmonies of The McGuire Sisters. Then, The Swing Dolls move on to the songs of 1960s girl groups, followed by the 1970s disco beats of ABBA. Plus, swinging into the 1940s, you'll delight in a show-stopping tribute to The Andrews Sisters, taking you back to where it all began -- the birth of the United Service Organization. To learn more about The Swing Dolls and hear their music take a look at their website by CLICKING HERE. The show will also also feature special guest comedy juggler and emcee Bryson Lang. This event has been crossposted on other Meetup groups.
