Earth Day Volunteer Day at Giving Pond

Giving Pond has quite a few projects available around it that we would like your help with. We have a lot of mulch to spread in the outdoor classroom, some trees will likely show up, some bamboo to cut down and possibly a bridge to paint. If you are available to help it would be greatly appreciated. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.

I have a few physical issues I have to consider (I'm over 65) and wonder how much of this four-hour period we'll actually spend working. Are we allowed to take a break when necessary during the work, or are we expected to work 3.5 hours (how long is lunch)? Please advise and thanks.

no problem, we take breaks when we need them and work as long as you can. If you tire out after an hour, I understand. I'll order lunch around 11:30 and pick it up around noon. Lunch is very casual.
