OK, 80s music fans- it's time to kick the summer into high gear with The Fixx!!
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk starts off the annual summer concert series with a bang with not one, but two FREE shows by The Fixx.
"One Thing Leads to Another," "Red Skies," "Stand or Fall," "Less Cities, More Moving People," "Reach the Beach," "Saved By Zero," "Lost Planes," "Sunshine In the Shade" - this band had about a million great songs, and they'll be playing two shows on the beach of the Santa Cruz Boardwalk- the first at 6:30 PM and a second one at 8:30 PM. The Fixx still delivers in concert, so this show is not to be missed.
In between shows and after the second, we'll enjoy the Boardwalk itself, including the Haunted Castle and the Giant Dipper, one of the nation's oldest wooden rollercoasters and seen in the film, "The Lost Boys." This summer marks the Dipper's 85th anniversary.

Now Santa Cruz might be a little far for everyone to make, but don't worry- there will be another Meet Up event scheduled close to SF in the very near future.
I hope to see you there!
