Introduction
I experienced the 80's while living in Hawaii. Since moving to the Bay Area, I noticed various clubs featuring 80's music, but no shows where 80's fans could personally recreate the 80's ambiance through singing. Karaoke offers us this opportunity.

"In the 80s, I worked as a cocktail server/graphic artist promoting new wave and punk venues in Waikiki and Honolulu industrial areas. European fashions were slow to reach Hawaii, so I made knockoffs and my own dark colored lipstick and nail polish. "
