Visit the Haas-Lilienthal House
The exuberant Haas-Lilienthal House is a Queen Anne-style Victorian, and was completed in 1886. It is the only intact private home of the period that is open regularly as a museum, complete with authentic furniture and artifacts. The House has elaborate wooden gables, a circular corner tower and luxuriant ornamentation.
The tours begin every 20 to thirty minutes and last roughly an hour. I'll be there around 1:45 PM with a Meetup name tag around my neck. I anticipate the tour will begin around 2:00 PM and we can all explore the historical site together. General admission tickets are $8.00.
Tickets can be purchased online here:
After the Tour
The tour is only an hour. About two blocks away is It's A Grind Coffee House (1800 Polk St, San Francisco). I'm planning on walking there and hanging out for a bit. We can all talk and socialize.
