  • Tom, no problem at all. There is no issue. I do have some good recommendations for Mac maintenance and you aren't the only one to ask. Critique & input from other techies is always welcome by me :)

  • The breakout sessions might be a bit overwhelming if you are newer to the Creative Suite, but the morning session will explain the technology for EVERYONE. I also think any information is good information, so maybe one or 2 sessions would be good to get the wheels turning and know what these programs can do, once you get some experience.

  • Tom, you can download a fully functional 30 day trial from Adobe, if you'd like to practice after our event. If you are looking for huge discounts on Adobe software, the student pricing is VERY affordable and a fraction of the retail price. You simply need a student ID from an accredited institution. I refer my students here for purchasing: http://www.journeyed.com/

Some other companies may sell older versions of the software that they have in stock, but I don't know any of those sites.

  • Hi Tom, I'm not sure if we got a chance to meet at the last meetup, but I wanted to let you know that Trulia is looking for php engineers. We're offering a 10k hiring bonus. Please email me at [masked] if interested. Thanks!

  • Tom, just a heads up. There is no May 24th meeting. I'm off on Maternity leave. Can you change your R.S.V.P. to not going? Our next event is on June 28th | All About Video in CS5.5.

  • Hey,

I'm searching for Ruby on Rails developers for a well-funded, fast-growing social media gaming company in the SF Bay Area. They want to do with social gaming what Blizzard did with PC games.

Is this the kind of job you're looking for? E-mail me your resume.

Do you know anyone with Ruby on Rails experience? We have a good incentive plan for referrals.

    [masked] / [masked].
