Please join the San Francisco Bay American Cetacean Society to celebrate Earth Day In Pacifica!
Let's join the Pacifica Beach Coalition at 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. to clean up areas around the beach and roadways. Bring your own bag and gloves (bags/gloves available if you don't have them).
After the clean up join in the great Earth Day Festival from 11:30-3 p.m. at Linda Mar State Beach (south parking lot).
This year's event honors the Sharks of the Sea because most shark species are threatened by finning, long line fishing, and environmental challenges. Keynote speaker David McGuire of Sea Stewards, will be on hand to give an inspiring talk on Shark Conservation.
There will be informational booths from many organizations, music, and food. Last year there was a constant show of whale activity, gray whale northern migration time, and non-stop surfing at Linda Mar Beach.
Go to: http://www.pacificabeachcoalition.org for full details and information.
Look forward to seeing you there!
