I have the pleasure of spending quality family time with my 11 year old son as a volunteer with the Hungry Owl Project and a little work with The Marine Mammal Center. Our family goal is to increase our volunteer work as he gets older and can participate in higher level tasks. My son started birthday fundraising for TMMC in first grade and it is a tradition for him to include both TMMC and HOP(for the last two years) in his birthday celebrations. We attend monthly TMMC "members only" presentations and love to learn all we can about the species that inhabit our oceans. I/we have also been involved with Scouting for the past five years and take families out to Pt. Reyes to observe and learn about the elephant seals. We spend most of our free time enjoying the beauty of Northern California. I am also passionate about geology, geography and meteorology!
