I have been involved in cetacean research since 2007 beginning with an undergraduate thesis on the habitat use of harbor porpoises in Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia. I completed a Master's thesis at San Francisco State University working with Point Blue Conservation Science (ACCESS Program) studying humpback whale habitat use and issues with ship strikes in the shipping lanes in the San Francisco Bay area. I have an interest in habitat use, ecology, resilience, behavioral studies, photo ID, adaptations to climate change, abundance and distribution of marine mammals.
Hi! I'm a recent graduate from San Francisco State University and I enjoy all things marine. I'm passionate about cetaceans and ocean conservation. I'm on the communications team for the American Cetacean Society- San Francisco Bay Chapter.
