And now, on with the show!
Vertigo (1958) Starts: 7:30 PM, Ends: ~9:40 PM
Starring: James Stewart, Kim Novak
Director: Alfred Hitchcock
Plot: An ex-cop -- with a fear of heights -- is hired to follow a beautiful, mysterious woman, who may -- or may not -- be haunted by a long dead relative. His investigation takes him on a journey from love and passion to obsession and paranoia. Hitchcock's ode to l'amour fou is arguably his greatest film: Dark, unsettling, and just a bit looney. Recently voted "The Greatest Film of All Time," in BFI's latest, deca-annual poll (supplanting Citizen Kane).
If you'd like to go for dessert after the movie, meet on the balcony landing by the rail.
