And now, on with the show!

East Side, West Side (1949) Starts: 5:30 PM, Ends: ~7:20 PM

Starring: Barbara Stanwyck, James Mason, Ava Gardner
    Director: Mervyn LeRoy
Plot:  When a wealthy socialite took back her straying husband, she thought it was for keeps. But now, some years later, he's back on the prowl, and his former mistress is all too willing. Today, we might call it "sex addiction," but when the girlfriend is Ava Gardner, how can you blame him? Meanwhile, the socialite finds some extra-marital interest of her own in a handsome, former cop.

Then, Stanwyck's romantic life gets REALLY complicated...

The File on Thelma Jordan (1950) Starts: 7:30 PM, Ends: ~9:10 PM

    Starring: Barbara Stanwyck, Wendell Corey
    Director: Robert Siodmak
Plot: No good deed goes unpunished, when a DA falls for the accused and throws the case to get her off. Things only get worse, when her former boyfriend shows up, and that spells bad news for everyone! Echt-noir from film noir master Robert Siodmak (The Killers, Criss Cross, The Spiral Staircase).
