If you'd like to dine, before the movie, please note that in your RSVP, so we can get a head count. We'll meet at Crepevine (click the name for info), starting at 5:45 PM. Order and pay at the counter. Non-diners, we'll meet you at the theater, around 7:10 PM, IN THE BALCONY.
The Stanford Theatre does not accept credit cards, so come prepared with $7 cash for your ticket.

Plot: A mad, disfigured composer, hiding in the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera, falls in love with a young singer, and sets about "helping" her advance her career. The original, "beauty and the beast" thriller, before Andrew Lloyd Webber mucked it all up! Presented with live, organ accompaniment, by Dennis James on the Mighty Wurlitzer!
If you want to go for coffee/dessert after the movie, gather outside in front of the theater, near the island box office, after the show, and we'll decide on a place.

Parking is easy if you use the surface lots near University Ave., or the garages under City Hall, NOLA/Old Pro, or the parking structures at Bryant near Lytton, or on High, just south of University.
