MEETUP ALERT !!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shirlee here, your meetup organizer - I know this sounds a little nuts, but if I had a friend like Brandon that would be making sure my birthday was spent with goldens when I couldn't be with my own... wow that is cool friend. So let's all help him be that amazing friend.
What are you doing tomorrow (Sunday 5/26 around 11:30 am)? Are you like me when I am away from my babies? I look for goldens to get my golden fix, I call home to check on them, etc...
Brandon Matthews is a great friend. When he and his buddies realized that their dear friend would be spending her birthday out of town and away from her beloved golden, he asked me to ask all of you to consider helping him surprise her with a golden wag of a day. Brandon will have pizza and soda and the park is dog friendly and the more the merrier! I have to apologize for the delay in getting this to you, but I am hoping you will have a chance to stop in and enjoy sharing your golden babies. PLEASE!!!!! It is a Harry Potter Theme so go for it if you too are Potter fans.
INFO from amazing friend Brandon:
Be there around 11:30 - remember it's a surprise for Josephine.
Irvington Community Park in Fremont is a go! (http://www.mapquest.com/places/irvington-community-park-fremont-ca-265661220) Brandon will bring water and the doggie treats. We plan on having a bunch of pizza, snacks, and beverages for the meetup folks! The Hogwarts house colors are shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hogwarts_coat_of_arms_colored_with_shading.svg. Dark green, yellow, red, and dark blue would all be the preferred colors for the bandanas. If it happens to be that most of the owners don't have access to some, I'll go ahead and buy some and bring them! My number is[masked] if anyone needs to reach me when at the park. I'll be at the park at 10am and we expect to surprise Josephine at noon!
On another note, you and the other owners are free to join in on the fun and games! We'll be playing muggle quidditch with a frisbee and some other games as well. I've gone ahead and attached images that you can use of Josephine and her dog, Nicky! There's also one picture of me and her.
