Michael Manapat (Data Engineer at Stripe)

Michael will talk about how Stripe uses data to detect and block fraudulent transactions behind-the-scenes in real time, thereby shielding their users from the pain caused by rogue consumers.

Chris Wu (Risk Engineer at Stripe)

Chris will cover the other side of the coin, in the form of fraudulent merchants who are looking to process shady transactions. He'll focus on how Stripe tests, deploy, and monitor their models that discover bad users and keep them from using Stripe.
