Let's talk Electric Vehicles!

Are electric vehicles the wave of the future? And will professional investors be the winners in this field, ripe for disruption but high risk for the financial community (think Fisker)? Tesla’s model S is selling faster than it can be made and everyone is racing to compete. GM recently floated plans for a vehicle that will be a rival to Tesla’s and Nissan, with partner; Renault has committed $5 billon for development of EVs and batteries. In addition, California Gov. Jerry Brown just signed six bills to give the EV industry a push and encourage consumers to buy electric.

Now could be the perfect time to take advantage of opportunities for innovation and investments in energy storage, charging stations, and other technologies. Come hear our panel of investors debate and discuss what’s happening now and what’s down the road for Electric Vehicles.

Speakers*:
Brook Porter, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
John Suh, Hyundai Ventures
Eric Wesoff, Greentech Media
Moderated by: Allison Leopold Tilley, Pillsbury

Quick reminder: you have to sign up on the actual event page! Unfortunately, an RSVP here doesn't count as an actual sign-up. Thank you and hope to see you there!

I've been a bit obsessed with EVs since watching "Who Killed the Electric Car" in 2006, & I currently drive a Leaf.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
