10 yr Euchre-versary BBQ!

*****Note that our regularly scheduled SF 1st Tuesdays Euchre Nite is cancelled due to the BBQ & the mid-week Holiday but we will resume our regular schedule for the rest of the month*****

 

 

Come out and celebrate the Euchre group's 10 year Euchre-versary of being in the Bay Area! We'll be hosting a BBQ-euchre in GGP to cele-bauer (you know you love it) this milestone on Sunday July 1st.

 

TIMING

Arrive any time after Noon. Grill at 1pm. Wrap things up by 6pm.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED

-A variety of sausages & a vegetarian option, buns
-Condiments
-Plates, Napkins, Utensils, & Cups
-Grill, Charcoal, Matches
-Water
-Cards

WHAT TO BRING
-Whatever else you'd like to grill if sausages don't float your boat
-Side dish/snack/dessert to share (Update your RSVP with what you're bringing to avoid doubles)
-BYOB (Alcohol is permitted)
-Jacket, Hat, Sun Screen, Sun Glasses, Blanket, Camping Chairs
-Any other fun picnic stuff: Football, Frisbee, Bocce, etc.

LOCATION
We have a site reserved with picnic table, grill & restrooms in Golden Gate Park's Lindley Meadow. Our Table is #2. Lindley Meadow is located on John F Kennedy Drive which runs from Stanyan to Ocean Beach.

GETTING THERE
BY CAR-If you're driving, Lindley Meadow is located at 30th Avenue off Fulton-the northern border of the park.

BY BUS-If you're taking MUNI, take the 5-Fulton (Outbound to Cabrillo & La Playa) and get off at 30th Avenue. Follow 30th Avenue into the park to where it meets JFK Drive & Lindley Meadow.

BY BART-If you're coming in via BART, get off at the Powell Street station and catch the 5-Fulton MUNI at the Market/Powell stop and take it to 30th Avenue as noted above.

BY GOLDEN GATE PARK SHUTTLE-Golden Gate Park has a shuttle that runs on weekends. You can catch it at McLaren Lodge which is located at the Stanyan entrance of the park at the end of Fell/Oak streets. Look for the black Bauer's shuttle. It's $2 for an all-day pass and will go right by Lindley Meadow. It runs every 15-20 minutes until 6pm.     It's still a little misty out here in the park, and may be a little wet/damp in the beginning. So pack and dress appropriately! Good time will trump the annoying weather!
