Happy Hours @ HI with Rick's Art of Loving skillshare

Rick: "whether you are in a relationship now, making sense of past ones or want to be prepared for future ones, "The Art of Loving, Creating an Intentional Partnership" gives you a road map for romance and intimacy. Partners need more than conflict management to thrive. Ironically, many of our fights have to do with a longing for connection that gets derailed. Building an intentional culture of friendship and appreciation, weaving positivity into everyday life is essential to nurture a balanced, secure relationship. "You will learn what science has to say about love which will surprise and delight you. Participants will experience a rich conversation of emotional connection and presence to one another. This presentation is educational and not therapy. "Those interested may contact mylo about future art of loving workshops with me" Rick is a relationship educator and certified professional coach. ***********

Mylo: "The Happiness Institute has given the gift of this space at 1720 Market to the Free School for our community to use. We thank them for the gift

"What does it mean to give a gift?

"How can we best prepare to receive the gifts of others? Is it by building thriving, resilient communities? Is it by preparing our spaces to be nourishing and bountiful? Is it by designing the structures to support the experience of the gift?

"What gift do you possess? What is something that you do that replenishes you, that recharges your batteries? What would make you happy to be able to give?

"...Do you need support to be able to give your gift? How can your community support you in giving your gift to the world?"

On Thursdays in October, from 4-8 pm, we seek to understand how we can support our teachers in giving their gifts to their community.

We will be exploring how to reach our highest potential as teachers, students, organizers, and facilitators. All are welcome to bring whatever they can provide to support our presence in the space.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
