Re: [sf-free-school] Seeking Holiday Timebank Volunteers & Vendors...

Hi Christine,

Just a thought, but if we have a bake sale then also having a potluck at the same time would be self defeating. In addition I've heard nothing about us having a potluck until this announcement. Did I miss a discussion where a potluck was considered? I think a potluck is not a good idea.

All in all I'd say it would be better not to have a potluck at the event, especially if we want to encourage others to bring cooked and baked items for the timebank.

In addition, if I had known you were sending you the message you sent I'd have including in it a request for people to also bring their services to the timebank, not just their goods. Services can includes things such as energy work, chair massage, private consultation sessions, etc.

In the future before you send out a message to all the SFFS meetup members I'd like it if you confirmed with me what you want to send before sending it. I like it when you write to the whole group, but I'd like to be able to add my thoughts to what you send out, or to perhaps edit it before it's sent.

Thank you,
Warren Lake
