(update: the bartender on 12/22 confirmed that they'll be open on New Year's Day)
By our 7pm start, your hangover is gone and you're feeling guilty about sitting on the couch all day instead of starting your new year's resolutions, which likely include some variation on: get in shape/run more, and have more fun. Fun Run will jumpstart you on both! We kicked off 2013 with a great run in Golden Gate Park, so let's make it a tradition. The park is essentially flat--the minor grade isn't noticeable by San Francisco standards, especially while taking in all the sights along the route: the de Young Museum, the Music Concourse with Spreckels Temple, the Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, Mothers Meadow, Lloyd Lake, and the Park Presidio greenway!

This new-to-us venue is a great neighborhood bar. Its long layout has vinyl bench seating all the way along one side and barstools along the other, with enough room to stand in between. Plus there is a pool table in back and a small patio in front to sit outside.

Still have questions? Check the FAQ, then ask away! #1 most frequent question: Is there somewhere to store my stuff during the run? No. Store your ID and beer money in your pocket. Don't bring any other "stuff."
