We are running out of new and different places to run in the Mission!  This week's urban route will take us north from the Mission into Civic Center.  It returns along lower Polk St. between Civic Center Plaza and City Hall, which is often lit up for seasonal events.  There is one short hill on Leavenworth.
Click here for the printable full-size map.

After we last went here way back in September 2012, there were many requests to repeat it.  So many bars, so little time!  We're finally back to enjoy the giant space with pool and other bar games.
Drinks: full bar
Payment: cash only
Serves food: yes, menu link
Allows outside food: no
Dog friendly: no

Still have questions? Check the FAQ, then ask away!  #1 most frequent question: Is there somewhere to store my stuff during the run? No. Store your ID and beer money in your pocket. Don't bring any other "stuff."

    Hey everyone,

So there's no Fun Run next Wednesday (the horror!), so a few of us were talking about potentially doing a run from my place of employment, Mission Rock Resort in the Dogpatch, around the same time. Who's in? Logistically...

    1) Happy hour ends at 7pm, so how might people feel about starting the run a little earlier at 6pm so we can at least get a round of drinks and oysters before happy hour ends? If that's too early for too many people, we can stick with 7.
    2) Kitchen closes at 9pm, bar closes by 10pm. For those who still want to party, we can go to another bar at that time in the area. Sound all right?

The route's also pretty easy and flat, runs along the Bay past AT&T Park and the Bay Bridge to the Ferry Building and back, a shade under 5 miles.

Please let me know, I'll do whatever most people want to do. Thanks!

Me too. I think if we don't count anything in the vicinity of 16th and Mission BART, we set the record on creepy Fun Run catcalls.

    Hello runners,
Is there anybody, who comes by car, so I could put my stuff in there during the run? Lockers seem to be un-existent in San Francisco :(. I can be there a bit early and I can also pay for the parking fee, if there is any.

I ask this all the time when I go to these runs. FYI there is a 24 Hour Fitness right up the street in case you're interested! :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
