Sunday trail run

THE LOGISTICS:
Meet at the Regency Ballroom at 10:30 to catch the 76X, scheduled to pickup 10:39 and arrive 11:06 at McCullough Rd & Bunker Rd.  (Other options: catch the same bus at a stop closer to you, or get someone to drop you off at McCullough Rd & Bunker Rd by 11:06.)  We'll run directly to the bar.

THE RUN:
This 8-mile point-to-point route offers terrific views from trails on both sides of the bridge!  We'll start by climbing the Rodeo Valley Trail.  At the top we'll run along the SCA Trail before descending on the Coastal Trail.  We'll cross the Golden Gate Bridge, then rejoin the Coastal Trail in the Presidio.  Finally, the Batteries to Bluffs Trail will take us via secluded Marshall Beach to Lincoln Blvd and into Seacliff.  Looking for extra credit?  Add a lap through Lands End.  Dogs are prohibited on most of our route.
Click here for the printable full-size map.

THE BAR:
The Tee Off aptly describes itself as a "5 Star Dive Bar."  Delicious food served in big portions for our post-run appetites!  There's a large patio outside and sports on TVs inside.
Drinks: full bar
Payment: cash, credit cards
Serves food: yes, food menu link
Allows outside food: no
Dog friendly: yes

Fun route!... though I think the Batteries to Bluffs trail would be better named the "Steps to more Steps" trail :). I will probably want to tack on the optional Lands End if anyone else wants to join me (more great views and we are right there).

All paces welcome. We'll probably regroup a couple times on the Marin side, then speed up on the bridge.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
