    Hi Everyone,

I'm a first-time entrepreneur visiting from Ann Arbor, MI. Would love to get advice from an experienced growth hacker or two. I will be in town until October 7th and would like meet anyone that is willing to give me advice. Our startup is bootstrapping and has built myfab5.com and the iPhone app without any investor funding. We just had a soft launch and have 2,700 users, but we have not done any marketing or growth hacking. We're ready to start growing so your advice would be extremely helpful. curious what i might learn here about finding another seed or even angel investment, if we do not yet have traction, and cannot get it without the additional funding (i.e. chicken egg dilemma)? Anyone know if the equity crowdfunding platforms are legal yet or how to get the social media/blogging help critical to do traditional crowdfunding, if one can only offer to the SM help (intern?) % of crowdfunding income and subscription income raised (we are subsriber based site (Couplewise.com) to help couples succeed (who cannot afford or won't trust therapists)

This meetup won't really teach you about how to get funding. What you might pick up at the coffee meeting is how to get that first 1000 users on the cheap. Personally, I think it is very possible for Couplewise to get traction without funding.

Hello everyone! We sadly can't make it to the event tomorrow. We are planning to begin hosting monthly (perhaps even weekly) growth hacking events. Growth Help is a new start-up located in downtown San Francisco. We interview top CEO's and growth hackers to share their tips/secrets on our website (www.growthhelp.com). Thank you all for your time and we look forward to meeting you at our future growth hacking events!

    Sincerely, Growth Help

Curious if anyone coming has any experience on smart terms to offer a new (hopefully more fundable than myself) CEO, for example re equity, bonuses if they (rather than me) discover the investor, trial period? Or can anyone reading this recommend an adviser? I have posted on theFunded, but no response there yet. garyatCoupleWise-com

    Hey All,

I've traditionally focused on driving free traffic to my ventures, but I'd like to start adding more paid to my repertoire. Anyone have good experience using paid channels on a limited budget - and more importantly - somewhat limited management?

Looking forward to chatting either way. :)

    Peter
