Mobile UI Design Process: A workshop with Dolores Joya (SF GUI Designers Meetup)

Room Details

SF Public Library, Latino Hispanic Room:

Join graphic designer Dolores Joya of San Francisco GUI Designers Meetup as she shares her process for designing User Interfaces for Mobile Apps.

She will cover the following topics:

  1. Designing screen flows/mockups starting from standard Android (ICS/Ice Cream Sandwich) and iOS (iphone/tablet) design templates.
  2. a bit about branding
  3. pulling the essential functions from full blown applications over to mobile devices.

Primary elements will include Graphic Design Principles, Screen Resolutions, Vector based output, color theory and visual layout.

This workshop is on Visual/Graphic Design processes only.

Dolores will not be covering application implementation or coding.

The last 20 minutes of time will be for sharing and reviewing UI design portfolios or UI's for applications you might be working on.

Contact Dolores if you want to share your project.

(p.s.) If enough people RSVP, Dolores may secure a larger venue, so stay tuned!
