Winter Retreat 2013

RETURNING

“ Like a Dragon Returning to the Sky, Like a Tiger Returning to the Mountain”

Lost Coin Zen Winter Retreat 2013 will begin on March 1 at 9 a.m.in Salt Lake City with orientation and zazen (meditation) and conclude the evening of March 4. It will be led by Daniel Doen Silberberg, Sensei, founder of Lost Coin Zen.

The return of the dragon requires penetrating the dragon’s mask. The dragon’s mask consists of fears, patterns we are stuck in and self-limiting illusions we have held for a long time. This retreat will utilize zazen (sitting practice), the richness of silence and the teaching forms of daisan (private conversation with the teacher) and teisho (dharma talks) to facilitate our “return”.

The total cost for the retreat is $475.00, including simple lunches which we will eat together in silence. Breakfast and dinners are on your own, as well as lodging.

There is comfortable and convenient lodging available at the Conference Center of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where the retreat will be held in the Wasatch Conference Room. The address is 75 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City.

Rates at the Conference Center are $68 per night single occupancy, $78 per night if shared ($39/person/night) For more details and to reserve a room, please email Vicki Mason at [masked].

To register and to ask any further questions, please contact Elena at [masked]. Your registration will be complete with your deposit of $225 (or the entire fee). Send this deposit to Lost Coin Zen, 77 Park Hill Avenue, SF, CA 94117 or in Salt Lake City you can give it to Liz McCoy or Elena James. You may also use Lost Coin paypal. Deposits are due by February 1, 2013, and the remainder may be paid at orientation.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
