Yoga session + cooking!

Marissa has kindly offered to lead us in a brief yoga session from 7-7:30 PM, followed by healthy cooking/eating! After we eat, there will be time to discuss the concepts of "power of intention"  and how "thoughts create things".  Both of these concepts are huge factors in creating a life that you love.

We will also have some follow up to the discussions we had at our first meetup! During our last meetup, we all agreed to conduct our manifestation experiments as well as take a risk before our next meeting! I am looking forward to discussing everyone's experience with this. If you did not attend our first meetup, please feel free to contact me for info about these activities if you would like to give them a try!

I look forward to connecting with you all again and meeting those of you who weren't able to attend last time! Please RSVP as soon as possible because our space is limited to 8 total .We may be able to fit a couple more people in after the yoga session. If RSVP fills up and you would like to attend afterwards, please shoot me an email and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Our yoga + cooking session will be held Marissa's place in San Francisco! Thank you Marissa! I have just updated with Marissa's address. Also, please don't forget to bring a yoga mat! If you don't have one, I have an extra that you can borrow!

P.S. I am thinking of scheduling something that can accommodate more people soon, such as a meetup in the park (possibly on the weekend during the day) and/or drinks at night at a place that makes excellent cocktails. Thoughts/suggestions? Please share!

Hi there! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone next week. Can someone let me in on the last meeting discussion re: "During our last meetup, we all agreed to conduct our manifestation experiments as well as take a risk before our next meeting! "? I would like to try this. Thanks in advance!

Look forward to meeting you Estella! You are more than welcome to bring something if you'd like! I know our hostess Marissa will be making a vegan stew, Kim will be bringing champagne, and I will probably bring some sort of salad and/or sweet.

I'll bring a bottle of champagne! Will we be cooking a variety of dishes? If not, I might bring a vegan dish to share since my options are usually limited at gatherings.

    Suggestions:
We could do a potluck/picnic in the park! My fav park is Alta Plaza Park in Pacific Heights. It's on top of a hill and has gorgeous views of the city and there are tons of cute dogs on a nice day! But it might not be great for picnics if there are dogs running around. I guess it depends where you sit. Alamo Square is another really nice park. There's also Dolores Park, but it seems kind of crowded on nice days. Tradition is a 1920's style bar in the Tenderloin that makes excellent cocktails (owned by the owners of Bourbon & Branch). So far it's my fav bar, and they have different themed booths that you can reserve. I read that the booths only seat 6-8 ppl, but I can check with them to see if they can accommodate a larger group.

Also, I just discovered Local Edition in the Fidi, another bar owned by the same ppl as Bourbon and Branch. It's 50s/60s themed, fancier like Bourbon & Branch, and has long cushy velvet benches & tables so they can accommodate reservations for large groups (you have to email them if the group is more than 6 ppl & tell them how many hours you want to have the table). I read that it gets packed Thur-Sat and can be loud & they also have live jazz some nights, so maybe if we chose this bar, it'd be best to go on a slower night. The wait for drinks is also esp long Thurs-Sat. Keep in mind, the drinks at all these bars I've mentioned are on the pricier side ($10-13) b/c they're known for making quality cocktails. I might check it out this weekend & update you on my findings :)
