The 1st Silicon Valley Scala Symposium will be the first native Bay Are Scala conference, an all day packed with Scala talks covering everything from hands-on, zero to hero Play web development, to AKKA architectures, to overall Scala concurrency. The seats are filling up -- get yours at
SVSS is the first conference in the funconf series of fun functional conferences we plan to hold in the Bay Area, similar to Strange Loop and Lambda Jam, connecting the local FP community with focus on startup success and corporate adoption.
We're looking for volunteers to help direct people on the day of the conference, and also promoting it in their organizations. Please reply to this email to get involved. We're looking for better ways to pack the talks we got into one day, and novel formats are on the table. Help us create the best unconference ever!
Have a great Fourth, and see you all in Santa Clara!
Cheers,
A+ (Alexy)
