I created new event to check out this movie tonight, then hang out for pizza and drinks afterwards.  I know its late, but if you are free just come to the theater at One Embarcadero Center - third floor, around 6:30 tonight.  I like the concept, and would like to schedule movie outings like this one in the near future.

Kind of a last minute announcement her, but for anyone interested, we plan to catch the 7 pm (maybe 7:30) screening of "The Artist" at the Embarcadero Center Cinemas TONIGHT - 12/3.  Aimee is organizing this one, so look for her in the theater lobby around 6:30 - 6:45.
Here's the synopsis from IMDB.
Hollywood, 1927: As silent movie star George Valentin wonders if the arrival of talking pictures will cause him to fade into oblivion, he sparks with Peppy Miller, a young dancer set for a big break.
Don't know much more, but there is early Oscar buzz for this movie, and the director and lead actors made the very funny and witty  "OSS 117" series of spy spoofs.
