Re: V: [screenwriters-261] Script wanted

I like action sci fi fantasy. I don't really care about the fame, but the money sure is nice to have.
I like to write with other writers, think with other thinkers. Personally, if there is good action in a movie, that
movie will sell. Nobody go to movie theater to be bored, they go to be entertained and flabergasted.

So I suggest for all screen writers, put some really good action sequences in your script.

Hi buddies

I actually did a small analysis about movies industry, so in my attitude: |
Do you write for fun or want to get money or famous?

I think the most difficult step in screenwriting is reaching to producers, directors, etc. Even if we wrote an awesome script, they rarely give us offers because we're unknown scriptwriters without credit.

I stayed at the producers position and thinking. They do the business so they wanna profits. If you show the profits inside you scripts, probably you are able to sell them.

Frank

Hi All,

I was speaking to a screenwriter who has been working in LA for the last 15-20 years on Sunday.  He was telling me that rather than trying to get an agent, you really want to get a manager.  The manager will want you to have one main genre (eg horror, comedy, animation, etc) that you write, and the manager will have connections with the right agents/producers.  I'm not sure if this info is helpful to anyone, or if anyone here has sold anything and can corroborate this information.

Thanks,
David Moy

Sometimes it's hard to JUST WRITE... support is needed. I do agree name calling isn't great, though.
